Mary received a BFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and
studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine.
Her paintings and sculpture have been exhibited throughout the United States,
and she has taught Visual Communications at the college level.

She has also worked in the graphic design field creating design solutions
for Web sites, magazines, brochures, newsletters, and individual promotions.

She earned an M.A. in Arts Administration major at Baruch College City University of New York in 2019.While she was in the Masters Program, she spent two semesters in Belgium, learning about the history, systems of funding, and support for creative people within society. She was an Intern assisting with the curation of art exhibitions at Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs from 2018 - 2020. She is interested in the promotion and preservation of artists' legacies.

She is married to painter William Zehngut.
